Moonlight Peaks Romance & Marriage Walkthrough

Post-launch guides identify 23 named dateable characters. Official storefront copy describes “two dozen romanceable characters,” so the unresolved 23/24 wording conflict remains; no reliable source currently names a 24th candidate.

This page covers the mechanics supported by TechRaptor, Bonus Action, and long-form gameplay. It removes the former page's unsupported birthday multiplier, moon-phase bonuses, jealousy roster, fixed NPC schedules, and spouse-specific perk table.

The Relationship Screen

Eligible dateable characters use an extended heart display in the relationship menu. Characters with only four heart icons are friendship-only according to TechRaptor.

The same menu helps with daily tracking:

talk to the character;
give one gift;
hug or kiss when available;
review recent gift reactions;
play Nokturna when the character supports it.

Liked gifts are marked with a star and loved gifts with a heart in the previously-gifted history. Early playthrough footage shows the game retaining the last eight gifts, which is more dependable than assuming one flower is universal.

Dates begin at the start of the next in-game night. Documented activities include flower arranging, pottery, and marshmallow roasting. These are interactive activities and can be failed; Josh's 60-hour review shows a failed date costing relationship progress.

Some candidates appear only after story progression, so an early relationship menu is not the final roster.

Elvira's later relationship route includes a five-stop clue quest across Town and Misty Shores. Use the Elvira Treasure Hunt guide for the Broken Lamp, graveyard, Webb of Wonders, Cave of Echoes bell, and Khazan Temple locations.

Can You Date Multiple Characters?

Yes. TechRaptor and Bonus Action both describe multi-dating, and Josh's review shows four or five active relationships in one save.

Multi-dating does not establish a universal “jealous character” list. The current sources support contextual reactions and invitations, not the former page's fixed rivalry matrix.

Josh also reported that repeatedly refusing a partner's invitations could cause a breakup and several days without conversation. Treat that as release-build behavior rather than a guaranteed counter with a known threshold.

Proposal and Marriage

TechRaptor reports the following sequence:

reach eight total hearts—four friendship hearts and four dating hearts;
complete a date and choose the proposal option;
set a wedding date at least two days later;
use the wedding attire unlocked at Third Eye Threads if desired;
attend the wedding, after which the character becomes your spouse.

Reported post-wedding changes include an achievement, additional dialogue, and the spouse sometimes appearing in the house at the start of a night. The source does not support the old page's profession-based farm bonuses or unique spouse spell perks.

Breaking Up or Divorcing

TechRaptor identifies Llemi as the character who can end a relationship or marriage. Reaching Llemi's home requires water access unlocked through story progression.

That guide reports no lasting social penalty from this magical reset. Patch behavior and dialogue can still change, so check the prompt before confirming.

A Safe Romance Routine

Speak to the characters already on your route instead of crossing the map for everyone nightly.
Give an inexpensive item and inspect its recorded reaction.
Use the Gift Guide for evidence-labeled leads, not universal-gift claims.
At two hearts, add the daily hug when convenient.
At four hearts, ask the character out and leave the next night available for the date.
Do not schedule multiple dates for the same next night; post-launch coverage warns that only the last invitation may determine who arrives.
Continue story quests to reveal late candidates.
