Quick answer: use a Mill for Flour, Sugar and Rice, a Press for milk-based cheeses, a Keg for juice and wine, a Refiner for construction materials, and a Furnace for bars and Charcoal. Processing is not always one input for one output.

Construction materials and blueprint sources

Sources below identify who supplies the blueprint or shop item, not an exact night or friendship threshold.

The Herb Drying Rack supplies dried plants for the Enchanted Mortar and Mill. Some rack output counts and processing times are blank in the checked table; our database does not invent those numbers.

Farm helpers are not interchangeable

• Firefly Pollinator: the reviewed table lists an 8×8 crop area and 1 Firedrop per night, with storage up to 14. Its blueprint is a 10% Museum reward, using 5 Wood + 5 Iron Bar + 5 Rose Quartz.
• Firefly Sanctuary: also a 10% Museum reward. Construction uses 10 Planks + 5 Refined Stone + 5 Rose Quartz. Firedrop output depends on nearby crops and is listed up to 14; it does not require inserting a Firefly.
• Bee House: blueprint by mail from Luna; 10 Hardwood Planks + 20 Fiber. Honey depends on nearby flowers, with up to 6 per night listed. Do not treat the maximum as guaranteed.
• Scarecrow: the materials table lists 5 Wood + 20 Fiber and Viktor as its source. Use the placement preview for protection coverage.

Conflicts and corrected older claims

This guide previously described a 3,000-Coin Mill, a 9×9 Pollinator consuming 5 Firedrops, generic milk-to-cheese conversion and different Furnace quantities. Those claims have been replaced with the source-labelled values above.

Moonshine remains unresolved: Farm Helpers lists 1 Wily Wheat + 1 Plops, while Farm Helper Recipes lists 3 Wily Wheat + 1 Plops. The Moonshine record shows the conflict and disables automatic readiness and margin calculations. Check your Keg menu before committing ingredients.

Compare processing with selling

A high output sell price does not automatically mean processing is worthwhile: account for input consumption and output quantity. Each processing record includes a sale-value comparison using prices you enter from one game version and quality.

It excludes station costs, elapsed time, farming costs and quality changes. Unknown yields do not become one by default. It is added sale value, not total farm profit.

Keep progression ingredients safe

Review your quest journal and Museum needs before consuming stored materials. See inventory and storage for reserving items separately. For potion ingredients, use the dedicated Potion Brewing guide; potion claims have not been merged into this processing dataset.
