Moonlight Peaks Job Board, Ludo's Book & Coil of Fate

Quick Answer:

  • Job Board location: Across the bridge into Town, left of Howling Hammer. Accepted jobs appear in the menu's Quests tab.
  • Ludo's book: The community job table identifies Town, with a 7-day deadline and 500 Coins. It does not give an exact pickup point.
  • Ridge's hammer: The table lists Ridge's Lost Hammer, 7 days and 700 Coins, but no location clue.
  • Coil of Fate: The Museum table lists a Seer relic in the Supernatural Room, obtained from Dig Spots—a donation use, not a documented Job Board objective.
  • Evidence boundary: The Job Board and Museum pages were read in Chrome on October 3, 2026. The job page is marked Work In Progress; none of these entries was independently reproduced in a game save.

Where Is Albertus' Job Board?

The community Wiki places the board across the bridge into Town, to the left of Ridge's Howling Hammer. Story progression unlocks jobs; the source does not establish an exact unlock quest here.

Albertus sits beside the board and signals when more jobs are available. After accepting one, open the Quests tab in the in-game menu to check its objective. Rewards vary by request, so inspect the posted reward and deadline instead of assuming every task pays the same amount or grants a blueprint.

See the Job Board unlock guide for the existing progression record.

Where Is Ludo's Lost Book?

Search Town for this documented job, not Howling Marshes. The Ludo entry asks for one Lost Book and names Town in its request text. It lists seven days and a 500-Coin reward.

The previous article's marsh islands, fence trail and Death-clearing hotspots had no supporting source. The newly read job table corrects the region but still does not establish a guaranteed coordinate, open-book appearance, or three-to-five spawn-point rule.

  1. Accept the job and confirm that your journal requests Ludo's Lost Book.
  2. Read the location clue in your own save. For the documented entry, start in Town.
  3. Explore that area and check interactable objects; no exact route is confirmed here.
  4. Match the item to the active objective before returning it to Ludo.

Do not confuse a resident's normal story location with the area where their lost item is described. Ludo appearing in the marshes during other quests does not place this book there.

Documented Lost-Item Requests

Resident / requested item Area clue in the source Listed deadline Listed reward
Ludo — Lost Book Town 7 days 500 Coins
Aras — Lost Design Sketchbook Town 7 days 500 Coins
Elvira — Little Book Town 7 days 500 Coins
Orlock — Lost Violin Misty Shores 7 days 900 Coins
Ridge — Lost Hammer Not provided 7 days 700 Coins

These are selected entries from the community job table, not a complete catalog or a promise about every game version. An area clue is not a precise spawn marker.

The source also lists Ridge's Lost Handsaw at seven days and 700 Coins, and Lost Axe at three days and 350 Coins. That difference is why the actual accepted job's deadline matters.

The current Work In Progress page does not document the previously claimed Sabrina's Crystal Vial request. This absence is not proof that no such request exists, but there is no basis here for a mushroom-ring or hollow-log pickup route.

Deadlines and Retrieved-Item Handling

The job page says an expired accepted request produces a failure notice without an additional penalty. This does not establish a universal deadline, so use the one shown for your job.

The publisher's version 1.2 patch notes changed retrieved lost-item handling: these items cannot be dropped but can be sold to Chester. Sale is not the same as quest hand-in. Keep an active job's requested item aside, and compare any inventory behavior with the version installed on your platform.

What Do I Do with the Coil of Fate?

The Museum table re-read October 3 lists:

Field Community ledger entry
Item Coil of Fate
Museum room Supernatural Room
Collection Seer
Acquisition method Dig Spots
Type Relic

Check the Museum donation planner and the in-game donation board before selling your first Coil of Fate. Dig Spots are an acquisition category; this does not establish a guaranteed digging location, drop rate or repeatable farming loop.

The old altar-activation, Death/Llemi-trading, Nokturna-reward and fate-resistant-clothing claims were unsupported and have been removed. For Museum access, follow the Museum unlock guide. A relic donation and a resident's lost-item request are different objectives.

Troubleshooting Missing Items

FAQ

Is Ludo's book always in Howling Marshes?

The documented request names Town. The source does not establish every possible variant or a guaranteed coordinate, so check your accepted job's text.

How long do I have to return Ludo's book?

The community table lists seven days, with 500 Coins as the reward. Use the deadline shown in your save.

Where is Ridge's lost hammer?

The table confirms the request, seven-day deadline and 700-Coin reward, but supplies no pickup location. The old shop and riverbank hotspots remain unverified.

Is Coil of Fate a Job Board item?

The source reviewed here documents a Seer Museum donation, not a Job Board objective. Check the donation board before selling it.
