Step by step
- 1
Cross into Misty Shores and head toward the area south of the Player Farm.

Enter the cave west of Ambrosia Mansion.
- 3
Mine Copper with the Rusty Pickaxe.
- 4
Upgrade at Howling Hammer before attempting Iron, then upgrade again before Gold.
When it does not work
Common blockers
The route is blocked by the cursed bridge.
Finish A Bridge Too Far before attempting to reach the cave.
My pickaxe hits a node but will not break it.
Use Copper tier for Iron nodes and Iron tier for Gold nodes.
I cannot find the final listed Vampster.
One Cave of Echoes Vampster is recorded as appearing only after A Missing Moon.
