A reliable relationship routine

1. Speak to the resident whenever you see them and use the Relationships tab to track progress.
2. Give a gift only when its reaction has been verified. The complete gift guide labels official-wiki and community-only evidence separately.
3. Watch the map for a character-event marker after a relationship threshold is reached.
4. Treat a guide's location, time, weather, and prerequisite as one combined condition. If an event fails to appear, re-check all four instead of assuming the save is broken.
5. Keep a manual save before proposals, weddings, or long quest chains, especially when playing on a newly released patch.

What this page deliberately does not claim

Exact heart-point gains, universal birthday multipliers, fixed daily schedules, breakup penalties, and one-size-fits-all event tables are omitted unless a current primary source supports them. Those details are easy to invalidate when a patch changes relationship logic.
