Confirmed Moonlight Peaks magic systems: 12 spells, 3 starting Mana, gesture casting, Aquaflux, magical tools, harvesting, crop changes, and object movement.

Moonlight Peaks Spells & Magic Guide
Moonlight Peaks contains 12 spells. Magic supports farming, gathering, crop care, and decorating; it is not a combat system.
The old page mixed confirmed farm magic with invented combat, teleport, friendship, and healing spells. This version includes only effects demonstrated or described in long-form gameplay coverage.
Mana Basics
- Mana appears separately from Energy.
- The starting pool contains 3 points.
- Each spell consumes a specific amount.
- A new night restores some Mana, but early coverage says it does not always refill the entire pool.
- Magical crop watering and some object movement require Mana, so spending the whole pool on convenience can block essential tasks.
How Casting Works
To cast, select a spell and draw its shape in the casting circle. At first you may need to check the grimoire repeatedly. With practice, the gesture becomes muscle memory and casting speeds up.
This manual gesture is part of progression: learning the shape matters as much as buying or unlocking the spell.
Confirmed Spell Effects
Eurogamer's post-launch spell guide provides the following basic-spell details. Casting gestures are intentionally omitted here so this page remains a concise reference rather than a copy of the source table.
| Spell | Mana | Documented effect |
|---|---|---|
| Aquaflux I | 1 | Water up to 16 crops |
| Aborascend I | 2 | Move one tree |
| Ethereal Hands I | 1 | Harvest up to 32 crops |
| Metamorphosia I | 3 | Transform one eligible crop |
| Hoisthaven | 3 | Move a building |
| Maturio I | 2 | Instantly grow a 1×1 crop area |
| Refilliarmus | 0 | Refill the Watering Can |
Higher tiers expand the affected area or number of uses. Exact prices and unlock availability should be checked at Webb of Wonders in the current game version.
Aquaflux / magical crop watering
Magical crops cannot be watered with the ordinary Watering Can. Review coverage identifies Aquaflux as the required spell.
Ethereal Watering Can
A summoned watering tool works across the farm while the player continues other activities in the reviewed build.
Ethereal Axe and Pickaxe
Summoned tools automate woodcutting and mining. A 60-hour reviewer reported that the character could not perform other actions while these two spells were active, and had been told this behavior was a bug.
Test them on your current patch before committing scarce Mana.
Floating harvest helpers
Full-game footage shows magical hands that help harvest crops automatically.
Crop transformation
Some magic changes crops into different forms, adding another decision beyond ordinary watering and harvesting.
Moving large objects
Trees and buildings can require spells to move during farm redesign. Save Mana before entering a large decorating session.
Spell Priorities
There is not enough reliable evidence to rank all 12 named spells. A safe early priority is:
- reserve Mana for magical crops already planted;
- use farm automation when it saves meaningful Energy;
- keep enough Mana for required object movement or story actions;
- test bug-prone summoned tools once after each relevant patch.
What Is Not Confirmed
The complete post-launch spell lists checked do not support the former page's Shadow Strike, Charm Creature, Glamour, Blood Mend, Bat Teleport, Night Vision, combat bosses, spell-combination research, or friendship-level unlock table.
Exact spell costs and unlock quests are also omitted until they can be checked directly in the release build.
