Unlock Wanderer's Hex, raise maximum Mana, and activate all six Moonlight Peaks Witch Circles for permanent, free fast travel.

Moonlight Peaks Fast Travel — All 6 Witch Circles
Quick answer: Moonlight Peaks has a real fast-travel network. Learn Wanderer's Hex from Sabrina's letter, raise maximum Mana from 3 to at least 4, then cast inside each Witch Circle once. Each activation costs 4 Mana; travel between activated circles is then free.
Current official documentation lists six Witch Circles, not five. They are in Town, Howling Marshes, Misty Shores, Moonlit Pines, Moonlit Slopes, and Twilight Catacombs. There is no circle on the Player Farm or in Luna Bay.
How to Unlock Wanderer's Hex
Wanderer's Hex comes from a letter sent by Sabrina, not a normal Webb of Wonders purchase. The exact letter trigger is not fully settled in the current published sources:
- the official Spellcasting page says the letter arrives after acquiring and upgrading every purchasable spell;
- the official Witch's Circle page calls the requirement unknown;
- GameRant and Games.gg instead report Sabrina's four-heart With a Bang event, followed by sleeping and checking the mailbox.
Because the two official pages conflict, do not rely on four hearts alone. The safest route is:
- progress Sabrina's relationship events;
- acquire and upgrade the purchasable spells at Webb of Wonders;
- sleep and check the mailbox after each qualifying milestone;
- read Sabrina's teleportation letter to learn Wanderer's Hex;
- increase maximum Mana from the starting 3 to at least 4 with an Arcane Flame.
If you reached four hearts but received no letter, continue the spell-purchase path rather than assuming the save is broken. Conversely, if the letter arrives before every upgrade in your current version, follow the in-game result—the fast-travel mechanic after receiving it is fully documented.
How to Activate and Use a Witch Circle
Stand inside a mushroom ring and cast Wanderer's Hex. Activating one circle costs 4 Mana and permanently adds it to the network. Once at least two circles are active, use an activated circle to choose another unlocked destination.
Important details:
- the 4-Mana cost is paid only for the first activation of each circle;
- later fast travel between activated circles costs no Mana;
- a circle cannot send you to a location that has not been activated;
- Moonlit Slopes requires Bat form before its circle is reachable;
- Twilight Catacombs requires the Dracula Insignia Key route described below.
If casting fails with a full starting bar, the problem is capacity: the starting maximum is 3 Mana, while Wanderer's Hex costs 4. Use the Mana guide to obtain an Arcane Flame rather than repeatedly trying to refill the same three-point bar.
All 6 Witch Circle Locations
| Area | Exact location | Access note |
|---|---|---|
| Town | Left side of the map, in the small natural area behind The Broken Lamp | Available once the spell is learned |
| Howling Marshes | Top-right corner of the area, across from the waterfall | Best circle for reaching Luna Bay quickly |
| Misty Shores | Bottom-right islet that contains Moonlight Tower | Useful for the graveyard, Cave of Echoes, and Elvira's clue route |
| Moonlit Pines | Bottom-left corner, follow the path below Yabbis' spot | Useful for the Crystal Cave and forest routes |
| Moonlit Slopes | Bottom-left corner, immediately left of the area entrance | Requires Bat form |
| Twilight Catacombs | Bottom-center, in front of the passage leading to Ambrosia Graveyard | Requires the Dracula Insignia Key and Viktor's follow-up |
Town
Look behind The Broken Lamp on the left side of Town. The circle sits in the small patch of natural ground behind the building, not inside the bar.
Howling Marshes
Go to the top-right corner of the Howling Marshes map and cross toward the waterfall. This is the closest documented fast-travel stop for Luna Bay, which has no Witch Circle of its own.
Misty Shores
Travel to the bottom-right islet holding Moonlight Tower. Activating this circle cuts repeated trips to Ambrosia Graveyard, Moonlight Tower, and the Cave of Echoes, including the back-and-forth route in the Elvira Treasure Hunt.
Moonlit Pines
Follow the path beneath Yabbis' usual spot to the bottom-left corner of the area. This is the practical stop for forest gathering and the Crystal Cave route.
Moonlit Slopes
The circle is immediately left of the entrance in the bottom-left corner. Moonlit Slopes is not reachable until Bat form is unlocked through Master of the Night, so this is normally one of the later circles.
Twilight Catacombs
The circle is in the bottom-center of the Catacombs, in front of the access route to Ambrosia Graveyard. To open the Catacombs, first receive the Dracula Insignia Key as a Museum reward, then ask Viktor about it.
The Catacombs circle is the closest fast-travel option for returning toward the Player Farm. The farm itself has no circle.
Fast Travel FAQ
How many Witch Circles are there?
The current official Wiki documents six. Earlier launch-period guides listed five because they omitted the Twilight Catacombs circle.
Why can't I cast Wanderer's Hex?
It costs 4 Mana, but the starting maximum is only 3. Obtain at least one Arcane Flame to increase the bar, refill it, then stand inside the circle and cast again.
Does every teleport cost Mana?
No. Each circle costs 4 Mana to activate once. Travel between circles that are already active is free.
Is Bat form required for fast travel?
Not for the network as a whole. Bat form is only required to reach Moonlit Slopes and activate that area's circle.
Is there a Witch Circle in Luna Bay or on the farm?
No. Use the Howling Marshes circle for Luna Bay and the Twilight Catacombs circle for the nearest documented farm-side shortcut.
Other Ways to Move Faster
Before the network is ready, Hellkitten is the best early ground-speed upgrade and Bat form adds flight over obstacles later in the story. The map also shows residents, shops, and points of interest, so combining errands into one loop still saves time when a destination has no circle.
At 06:00, the player returns to the coffin automatically in the tested release build. That sunrise return is an end-of-night safety mechanic, not a selectable fast-travel destination.
