Look for the pale, drooping Weeping Willows when exploring the marshes. Ordinary Wood and Dark Wood are not interchangeable in the processing recipes. Check the item name before committing your stock to a machine.

The earlier GameRant guide also describes Weeping Willows and reports a starting-Axe willow interaction, but the Wiki Tools table places Dark Wood gathering at Copper. 3. Place it and select Charcoal using the resource named Wood.
4. Collect the output before starting your metal-Bar batch.

The reviewed table does not establish a Charcoal processing duration. It lists each Copper, Iron and Gold Bar as 4 matching Ore + 1 Charcoal → 1 Bar. Charcoal is also an input for Glass.

Copper Axe Materials for Large Fallen Logs

The Copper Axe row re-read October 3 agrees with the September 6 tool ledger: 1,000 Coins + 3 Copper Bars at Ridge's shop. Use the Axe upgrade record to compare later tiers.

If you produce all three Bars with the reviewed Furnace recipes, allow 12 Copper Ore + 3 Charcoal. Producing that Charcoal requires 3 Wood. Those totals cover the Bars only; they exclude the separate cost of building a Furnace.

How to Make Hardwood Planks

Ridge is the listed source of the Refiner blueprint. Its material cost is 20 Wood + 20 Stone, and its Hardwood Planks recipe is 3 Dark Wood → 1 Hardwood Plank.

Build the machine, select the correct recipe, and keep enough Dark Wood for the number of Planks you actually need. For example, ten Planks require thirty Dark Wood under this recipe. This is a recipe calculation, not a prediction of how many trees you must cut.

Weeping Willow Respawn Is Not Guaranteed Overnight
