- Keep up to six high-value crops or display items you are willing to lose.
- Clear bag space for candy, shop purchases, and the Pumpkin Beanie.

- Decide whether the Arcane Flame is your priority; its current festival price is about 400 Evernight Coins.

Best Ways to Earn Evernight Coins
Pumpkin Dash
Pumpkin Dash is the red-light, green-light race in Peaksview Park. Move while Pumpkin Head faces away and stop before he turns around. If he catches you moving, you return to the start.

GameRant's tested table instead lists 1 Coin for third place and calls the Beanie a participation reward. The first- and second-place Coin amounts agree. Check the results screen in the current patch for the disputed third-place and Beanie details.
GameRant also reports that Pumpkin Dash can be replayed without a limit and that festival time does not advance during the race. In that tested build, repeated first-place finishes are the most dependable way to farm enough currency for the shop.
Jitterbug
Elvira hosts Jitterbug at Heart Pier, between Elvira and Samael's homes. Swap Critters to create horizontal or vertical groups of three or more before the timer expires.
The official Wiki confirms that higher scores award more Coins. GameRant's test converts 10 score into 1 Evernight Coin, making a score of 60 worth 6 Coins. Jitterbug is useful for variety, but Pumpkin Dash is easier to plan around if you need hundreds of Coins.
Candy buckets
Search Town, shop fronts, and homes for festival candy buckets. They contain random candy and can also award Evernight Coins. Collect them while moving between the shop and minigames rather than relying on them as the main currency source.
Twilight Showcase
First place in Luna's Twilight Showcase awards 100 Evernight Coins. This is a one-time final-night result, so do not wait for it if you need to buy something before the judging scene.
How to Win Luna's Twilight Showcase
The Showcase table is on the pier north of Death's Shack. Submit up to six entries during Evernight; Luna judges them on Autumn 28 after the banquet.
The current official Wiki describes the entries as crops. GameRant reports successfully testing a wider pool of high-value items and found total item value to be the deciding factor, recommending two-star food or crops, Diamonds, and Golden Eggs. Because those descriptions differ, use this safe rule:
- interact with the table and use only items the current prompt accepts;
- favor high-quality, high-sale-value entries;
- fill all six slots if the materials are replaceable;
- submit nothing you need for a quest, Museum donation, or rare recipe.
Submitted items cannot be reclaimed after judging in GameRant's test. The 100-Coin first-place reward may not justify sacrificing six unique collectibles.
Evernight Fashion Show
Enter Third Eye Threads on Autumn 27 for Aras's Fashion Show. Choose makeup, clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories for three models.
GameRant reports that every tested styling choice received applause and that the activity has no direct item or Coin reward. Treat it as the second night's story activity rather than a scoring puzzle.
Evernight Shop Priorities
Sabrina runs the Evernight Shop at the Midnight Market. The shop includes exclusive furniture, food, recipes, blueprints, and an Arcane Flame.

GameRant captured the Arcane Flame at 399 Coins, one less than the current official Wiki. Budget 400 and follow the live shop price. Buy permanent recipes and blueprints before decorative duplicates, then spend any remainder because the currency does not carry into next year.
Ready-made seasonal food currently costs 12 Coins for Pumpkin Stew, 16 for Pumpkin Pie, and 21 for Pumpkin Spice Latte. Buying the 1-Coin recipes is usually the better long-term unlock if you have the cooking ingredients.
Two Event-Only Vampsters
GameRant documents two Vampsters that appear only during Evernight:
- under the tree west of Coffee & Coffins, behind the pumpkin decoration;
- in the southeast corner of the patio outside The Broken Lamp.
Carry each one to the den inside the Cave of Echoes. Talking to residents or putting a Vampster down returns it to its hiding spot. Missing either festival spawn can add a full in-game year to the 100-Vampster collection.
