Moonlight Peaks Fishing Guide — 22 Documented Fish
Release-week sources now document 22 named fish, but the collection total is not perfectly settled. Neoseeker's fishing table has 22 entries, including the unusual fish Missing; its Museum page says the Aquarium needs 21. Bonus Action describes a 22-fish Aquarium, while IGN and TheGamer still label their location lists as works in progress.
This is therefore a 22-name working checklist, not a claim that every condition is final for every patch.

Spelling note: one launch guide renders the Pink Grove fish as “Armour”; the larger 22-entry table uses “Amour.” Check the name shown in your in-game collection before reporting a missing entry.
Rod Progression
The starting Fishing Rod catches small shadows. IGN documents the Premium Rod upgrade at 16,000 Coins plus the original rod and 3 Gold Bars; it unlocks large shadows. Neoseeker's table also lists an Enchanted Rod and reports that it removes the normal fishing energy cost, but the upgrade route still needs independent confirmation.
Efficient Collection Route
- Clear the evergreen entries first: Silverveil Lake, its feeder rivers, Howling Marshes, Pink Grove, Moonlit Pines, underground waters, and Luna Bay.
- Return to Silverveil Lake in rain for Mouthout.
- Fish its feeder rivers in Spring or Summer for Goldy and the lake in Winter for Fortipod.
- Visit Luna Bay on Day 15 during the full moon for Moonflutter and in early evening for Twilight. The Full Moon checklist also covers the Awooooo! achievement, so both can be prepared on the same date.
- Upgrade before hunting Furybud, Moonflutter, Gnasher, Gloy Gloy, Daybreaker, and Goliath.
- Treat Missing as a special hunt after the ordinary regional checklist is complete.
