Moonlight Peaks isn't just about farming and potions — fishing is a reliable source of income, quest items, and rare crafting materials. Here's every fish, where to find them, and how to become the best angler in the supernatural valley.

Fishing Basics

You unlock fishing on Night 3 when Mayor Thorne gifts you the Basic Fishing Rod. Cast your line into any body of water — lakes, rivers, the ocean pier, and even underground cavern pools all have different fish.

Fish every night for 30 in-game minutes — consistent practice beats marathon sessions
Use Silver Rod as soon as you reach Fishing Lv.5 — rare fish give 2× XP
Fish during Full Moons — bigger fish = more XP
Complete Kim's fishing quests — she rewards large XP boosts
Don't sell Crystal Koi — donate the first one to the Museum for 500 XP

Fishing Festival

The Moonlight Fishing Derby occurs every 15th of Summer. Compete against NPCs for:

1st Place: Moonstone Rod + 3,000G + Trophy
2nd Place: Crystal Rod + 1,500G
3rd Place: 50 Glow Worms + 500G

Bring your best rod and bait. The derby lasts one full night — catch as many fish as possible by weight.
